My Music Journey

Hey, Dhanush here and there this is my first blog!I don't know what to write about,i am just writing down sometime
I am here to tell you about my music journey. It was grade 4 and our school gave us an option to choose between music, theatre and dance.Let me tell you,I am kind of introvert๐Ÿ˜“,so theatre and dance were out of syllabus and the only option I had was music๐Ÿ™ƒ.So basically I choose music because it was the ONLY option suitable for a guy like me.The classe used to take place every Thursday and it was my first class. As soon as I got into the class, sir introduced himself (his name is Prince, which seemed unusual to me)and gave us a brief introduction about music and  some instruments. As the class was coming to an end,he told us that we had to buy an instrument named "Ukulele".And the price of it was ₹2000.For those of you who dont know what Ukulele is,just think of it as a smaller version of guitar, which has only 4 strings unlike the guitar which has 6.And,as soon as I heard this,I regretted taking music, because I was TOO scared to ask my parents for money ,and that too ₹2000!๐Ÿ˜ฎ‍๐Ÿ’จ I went home that day and told nothing to my parents. This continued for another 2 weeks, until my sir forced me to buy a ukulele.I went home that day and this time I told them about this, and the first thing they told is"spending ₹2000 on an instrument is not worth it".This drama kept going on until I somehow convinced them to buy it.I bought it,and the first thing that came to my mind after looking at it is "why does thing look like a toy?"a Ukulele is a very small instrument and it looks like some kids toy. That day even I myself regretted buying it๐Ÿ˜….After I finally bought it,that Ukulele had been lying around in my room for the next 1 month. But one fine day,I woke up,I looked at my Ukulele, and it felt like it was telling me"you stupid little human, you spent ₹2000 on me,and you didn't even play me since a month, all you do is sleep, eat,and do nothing, atleast play me for the sake of playing me"(sometimes life becomes Soo harsh that even non living thing start scolding you๐Ÿ˜ถ๐Ÿ˜…).I started feeling bad and I started learning "Happy birthday" by myself from YouTube๐Ÿ˜….And to my suprise,I started enjoying playing a simple song like "happy birthday " on my Ukulele, and from then on,I started learning "Despacito" and a few other famous songs. And now I have reached a point where I can listen to a song for the first time and play that exact same song on my Ukulele almost instantly. Now I know a lot of songs on ukulele.Around grade 10,my interest slowly sifted to guitar.I slowly started asking my parents for a guitar(They were happy that I learnt to play the ukulele and that ₹2000 didn't go to waste,so they were not against to buy a guitar). Unfortunately,my ukulele "passed away" in the end of my 12th grade, cause I had been playing it for almost 9 years. And now I asked my parents to buy a guitar since my ukulele is no more, and they agreed to buy it.I bought my first guitar a month ago(I bought it in my first semester of my engineering),and I am learning it exceptionally fast, cause I am already a little experienced. And now,I am interested to compose my own music too,I already made a few tunes for my songs!!There is still a long long way to compose my own music, but,I am sure I will compose a song in the future. And right now,I am planning to start my own Instagram channel and show the world my talent๐Ÿ˜Ž
